How does it work?
SpamStopper provides three levels of protection for you Inbox.
At the lowest level, each piece of email is scanned for viruses.
At the next level, each piece of email has it's fingerprint checked,
in real time, against multiple online databases of know spammers
to determine if it is know to be spam or not. At the highest level
all email that is not suspected to be spam is immediately sent
to your Inbox so that you won't miss an important message. Any
mail that is suspected to be spam is then challenged using Tagged
Message Delivery Agent technology which sends the email sender
a simple and clear message asking them to verify that they are
real.
The message prompts the sender to simply reply or click on an encoded
link to release their message for delivery and have their email
address automatically added to a confirmation list so that they
will never be challenged again.
